Our Year in Beer

Now that 2022 has been and gone, here is a run down of what has happened in the last year.

This year, we got ourselves a new and improved canning line. Which means we are able to produce more beer for you guys, at a faster rate!

We also have had new tanks installed and now have 45% more capacity than previous years. You guessed what that means? EVEN MORE BEER for you lot to enjoy.

2022 saw us produce a lot of beer. 138 brews to be exact. This is the equivalent to over 300,000 pints. How many did you guys personally contribute to that total eh? ;)

In those 138 brews, included 15 new beers from us. This included a few collabs from the likes of Dog Falls, Barney's Beer, Six Degrees North and BrewDog Peterhead.

We also introduced our Funkt Up Sour series - which has proven to be a massive hit! and of course our 5 year Birhday Beers.

2022 saw 4 of our stouts to receive fantastic ratings on UnTappd. Our Imperial Knight range proved to be very popular indeed, with all 3 in the range acheiving high ratings.

Unfortunately, 2022 saw the end of BrewDog Peterhead and so our last ever CollabFest with that bar was Wired to the Toon - a caramel macchiato imperial stout. If we don't say so ourselves, this beer was phenomenal!! 

Speaking of high ratings. We were, once again, honoured to be nominated for some Scottish Beer Awards in October. Raspberry Carronade won another GOLD for the Best Fruit Forward category. Hopefully we will be nominated for more awards this year. Fingers crossed we can scoop some prizes!!

This year, we bought a premises for a new bar in Aberdeen City Centre. Plans for a 2 storey bar are under way. Hopefully, we will have more information on that front very soon! We cannot wait!

In 2022, we turned the grand old age of 5! So in celebration of that, we came out with 5 new beers all at once. You lucky ducks. They have proven to be a smash hit with all of you lovely, loyal customers too.
