What's to come from us after lockdown!

At last we are starting to see bars up and down the country allowed to re-open!

We know how long a wait this has been for people and we’d like to wish all our fellow industry workers all the very best for their first day back behind the bar. We’d also like to encourage everyone to support their local pubs by enjoying a pint or 2 and hope you all enjoy a fun and safe visit.

The pandemic has been a very difficult time for people and businesses alike. We at Brew Toon have greatly appreciated all the support received during this time. It has allowed us to continue to do what we are passionate about and what we love best; which is brewing great Scottish craft beer. And although last year was tough, we worked hard and were fortunate enough to have picked up a number of awards for our beers - something we are very proud of as a team.

As a result of the bars being forced to close for as long as they have been, we have had to change and adapt our business to the new market conditions. This has meant using our bar as a packaging, off-license and click & collect area and although not ideally set-up for this, it has proved quite a popular offering. Therefore, we have put new plans in place to improve this by opening up a new separate bottle shop and tasting room in Peterhead and currently have an application in place for this license. Work is well underway with the new shop and we look forward to showing you all how this is progressing in the coming weeks!

Moving forward, in addition to the new shop and tasting room, we are planning a series of pop-up bars and events and you’ll be able to find out more info on these across our socials and website. On top of this, we plan on converting the old bar into further production area which will allow us to add a new canning line to the brewery which will help us meet new market demands with new 330 / 440ml cans.
